NQ2 Local runs on your own device and provides the web interface, devices, cards,
integrations and automation. The universal ZIP includes the application and
package.json; dependencies are installed for your operating system and processor.
Installation
For a guided setup, use NQ2 Installer. It downloads the latest application package during installation.
For a manual installation:
- Download the latest release above and extract the complete folder.
- Open a terminal inside that folder and install dependencies with
npm install. - Start the application with
npm start. - Change the initial administrator credentials before exposing the application.

Updating an existing installation
Use the update view in NQ2 Local. The updater installs dependencies before replacing application files and preserves your configuration, database, definitions, integrations and scripts. Installer scripts are intended for new installations, not for upgrading an existing instance.
